Hoover Cresent Islamic Center
The Hoover Crescent Islamic Center (HCIC) is one of the largest Muslim prayer facilities in the greater Birmingham area, as well as the current administrative home of the Birmingham Islamic Society.
Opened in December 2007, HCIC is located 10 miles south of Birmingham in the heart of Hoover, Alabama. موقع يعطيك فلوس مجانا Seated on a 6.5 acre property, it features an approximately 13,000 square foot facility. It includes a spacious prayer hall with a capacity for 500 worshippers, parking for up to 200 cars, administrative office spaces, furnished classrooms, and restroom facilities with ablution stations. الروليت Wireless internet is provided free for the community.

From Huntsville: From I-65 South, take exit 252 (US Hwy 31). Take a right and then the immediate next right turn on to Southland Drive. Continue through the next intersection on to Hackberry Lane. The center is at the top of the hill on the left.
From Montgomery: From I-65 North, take exit 252 (US Hwy 31). Take a left under the overpass, and then the immediate next right turn on to Southland Drive. Continue through the next intersection on to Hackberry Lane. The center is at the top of the hill on the left.
From Anniston: From I-20 West, take I-459 South. Merge on to I-65 North, then take exit 252 (US Hwy 31). Take a left and then the immediate next right turn after the overpass on to Southland Drive. Continue through the next intersection on to Hackberry Lane. The center is at the top of the hill on the left.
From Tuscaloosa: From I-20 East/I-59 North, take I-459 North. Merge on to I-65 North, then take exit 252 (US Hwy 31). Take a left and then the immediate next right turn after the overpass on to Southland Drive. Continue through the next intersection on to Hackberry Lane. The center is at the top of the hill on the left.
Homewood Masjid
The BIS Homewood Masjid is located in the Rosedale community of Homewood, Alabama, just south of downtown Birmingham.
This Masjid is located in the former Shades Valley RLC property and was purchased in 1995. The property served as the main center and home for BIS administrative offices, as well as the fulltime school it supported, the Islamic Academy of Alabama (IAA).
The facility features a three-story school building, courtyard, playground, and prayer hall with room for up to 250 worshippers.
In December 2007, BIS moved its community center and administrative offices to the Hoover Crescent Islamic Center. However, the property is still home to IAA, and is actively supported by BIS. Daily prayers as well as the weekly Friday prayers at the Homewood Masjid are maintained as well along with a Saturday Halaqah. beoutq.

Fairfield Masjid
BIS strives to meet the needs of all Muslims in the greater Birmingham area. In response to the need for a dedicated place of worship in the west side community, BIS established the West Side Masjid in February 2010. The West Side Masjid is located in Fairfield just off of I-20/I-59. The Masjid is open daily for five times prayers as well as Jummah prayer on Fridays.
